Oil
East Mist trades crude oil and related petroleum commodities globally as well
as Natural Gas primarily in Asia Europe and the United States. Our original
strengths lay in the trade, transport of oil. Today, these are supplemented by a
diverse range of other activities. We blend fuel oil and gasoline in Amsterdam,
Singapore and Malaysia. We are undertaking substantial investment in oil
terminals, port facilities and the assessment of exploration opportunities.
Crude oil is far from a homogeneous commodity. The unique molecular
characteristics of crude oil from each different source determine how
efficiently it will process into a broad range of derivative products. These
products include:
- Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG)
- Gasoline
- Naphtha
- Jet fuel
- Fuel oil
East Mist has wide expertise when it comes to handling oil, and deals in many of its associated products. We understand, analyse and adjust for the variations that occur in oil and product quality.
